Employee Benefits
MedicalEmployees can choose from numerous plans offered by UnitedHealthcare or Aetna. Our plans offer employees and eligible dependents access to a vast network of physicians and includes an employee assistance program (EAP).
DentalEmployees can choose between four plans offered by MetLife Dental. These plans offer employees and eligible dependents access to a vast network of dentists.
VisionEmployees can choose between 2 plans provided by VSP and 2 plans provided by UHC Vision (Formerly Spectera Vision). All four plans offer employees and eligible dependents access to large networks of quality eye care providers.
Life InsuranceAmbrose offers four group life insurance plans in the amounts of $50,000, 1X, 2X, and 3X salary. Employees are also enrolled in travel and identity theft assistance from MetLife, and have the option of purchasing additional supplemental life insurance.
Short-term DisabilityAmbrose provides short -term disability insurance to all employees with three coverage options available through MetLife. Our policies compensate employees for 60% of salary and commission. The maximum benefit options are $750 per week, $1,500 per week, or $2,500 per week (except where regulated by state law). Ambrose takes responsibility for processing all short-term disability claims.
Long-term DisabilityAmbrose offers long-term disability (LTD) insurance that compensates employees for 60% of salary and commissions, with a maximum benefit of $12,500 per month. Ambrose takes responsibility for processing all long-term disability claims.
401(K)Employees may participate in a self-directed retirement plan with multiple mutual funds from several fund families. This plan has three features: a 401(k) component, which allows employees to voluntarily defer salary tax-free; an optional employer matching component; and profit sharing contributions.
Voluntary BenefitsEmployees can participate in a variety of voluntary benefits, including Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, MetLaw Legal, pet insurance, and commuter benefits. Employees can also enroll in supplemental life insurance coverage through MetLife.
Workers' CompensationAmbrose provides workers' compensation coverage for all employees. Ambrose administers the policy and takes responsibility for handling the year-end payroll audit.
PerksEmployees have access to an online discount program for entertainment, travel and shopping as well as gym discounts and banking programs.
