Small Business Efficiency Act of 2011 (H.R. 2466) Gains Support

WASHINGTON, DC, October 4, 2011 - Ambrose Co-CEO Greg Slamowitz applauds Representative Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Representative Mike Thompson (D-CA) for their role in supporting America’s small businesses by introducing the Small Business Efficiency Act of 2011 (H.R. 2466) into the U.S. House of Representatives.  Mr. Slamowitz also thanked Representatives Paul Tonko (D-NY), Sam Johnson (R-TX), Wally Herger (R-CA), William Owens (D-NY), Allen West (R-FL), and Ted Poe (R-TX) for co-sponsoring the Small Business Efficiency Act. Supporters of the Small Business Efficiency Act hope to provide administrative relief to America’s small businesses through the provision of a Federal safe harbor statute for small businesses to use “certified” professional employer organizations (PEOs).   Professional employer organizations (PEOs) provide an integrated human resources, payroll and employee benefits solution to small businesses.  By using a professional employer organization (PEO), small businesses can simplify their human resources administration and focus on other core functions to grow.
